1. Do not waste paint. 2. Sometimes wasting paint is the best way to use it. 3. Get carried away. 4. Make a mess. 5. Be able to distinguish between a mess and a masterpiece. 6. Sometimes a mess is a masterpiece. 7. Accept that sometimes it will seem like there is more paint on you than on the canvas. 8. In their imperfection, the pieces will be perfect. 9. Have no regrets. 10. Not all of your pieces will make it through alive. Some will be destroyed and ripped to shreds in frustration before their creation is complete. 11. Always give your art a name. 12. Name your paintings are your emotions. Name your paintings after your emotion
